Inosuke and Marie were both in a panic. Mainly Inosuke. "That thing's got no weak spots! I can't slash something that's not there!" Marie was doing her best to get him to focus. "What are we gonna do? What are we gonna do?!"
"Calm down! We'll inflict a monk's robe cut on it! Let's try slashing from the base of its neck on the right side to its left waist! It's a lot to cover, and I'm sure it's really tough, but I bet-" Marie tried to tell him but he did not listen! "Hold up! In unison!"
"It's fast! But... not so fast that I can't dodge it!" Inosuke says and a spider crawls on his arm. "Crap! I forgot about the spiders!"
He ended up tangled up in webs.
"I can't move! I'm a dead man!" He cries out.
Marie blocked the attack and then cut Inosuke loose. "Inosuke, let's fight together! Let's think together! Let's work together so we can bring down this demon!" She tells him and he blushes.
"Damn you!! Don't make me any giddier than I already am! We do make a good team! Boss wife!" He says and Marie bods.
"Inosuke, launch yourself off me!" Marie orders and then Inosuke gets read. "Inosuke, jump!" Marie uses her water breathing to cut off the legs. "Now for the monk's robe cut!
Inosuke does it, amazed by Marie. 'It is not just how she fights, but she flows like water, she goes with the flow a lot but she can control the outcome by adjusting her flow. Her whole spirit is fluid and able to adjust to what she needs to do... She is really an amazing woman, man, whatever she feels like. I am going to make her my wife... one day.' He thinks to himself.
"You did it! Great job!" Marie Cheers him on. "All right! You defeated it, Inosuke!"
Inosuke takes off his boar head and runs up to her, grabbing her. "Anything you can do, I can do, too, Boss Wife!" He says and then kisses her on the mouth before throwing her in the air.

The woman known as mother was shocked at how peaceful it was and how warm it was. She never imagined her death to be so kind and loving as she looked at the demon slayer. She was like an angel, was this the woman that Rui told her not to kill just a bit ago?
(Flashback)
"A woman demon slayer is coming after you," Rui says. "I am going to turn her into a demon and make her my wife. You are to capture her."
"Y-Yes of course," Mother tells him.
"Mother, if you fail me, death, and father will be the least of your worries, this human She WILL BE MINE!" He snaps.

Yes, this had to be her, how mother pitties this poor demon slayer, she does not know what fate she will have, since she gave mother such a kind death. Mother decided that she could at least warn the demon slayer. "Miss..." The Demon Slayer looks at her. "There's a member of the Twelve Kizuki here... and he wants to make you his wife..."
"Wh-What?" Marie asks shocked.
"Please... be careful..." And with that, she was gone.
'A member of the Twelve Kizuki is here... A genuine member of the Twelve Kizuki, here on this mountain!' That was all she was focused on, but she was still shocked by the second part..
'The blood of the Twelve Kizuki should have a high degree of Kibutsuji's blood..and..If I can extract it, the medicine that will turn Nezuko back into a human can be completed sooner!'
She was so focused on what this "Ah, hold on! Inosuke!" She realized she'd left him, and went running to him, following the scent of blood.
"So did you defeat it?" He asked, he sounded like he was struggling a little.
"Are you all right, Inosuke?" She asked worried. That scent...
"I asked you whether you defeated that thing or not!" He snapped.
"Uh, yeah, I did! But anyway, Inosuke, how are you feeling?" She asked, which he may have been open to if he wasn't in pain. Not that he'd tell her.
"Don't go showering me with your sensitivity and kindness! You hear me? Got that? After all, I'm tough! Before you know it, my head will be harder than yours!" He said as she just blinked. "Not to mention... Not to mention... Um..." he struggled to speak as she narrowed her eyes worried.
'He's wounded severely. I couldn't save our other friends, either...That person gave off the scent of terror and suffering. Enough to make her yearn for death..'
Somehow, with enough convincing, she managed to her Inosuke to sit down as she wrapped his arm.
'What's the deal with this mountain anyway? With one of the Twelve Kizuki present and a demon family living here...'
She could barely hear it, but Inosuke was talking.
"I'm totally fine!" He says.
'But... I thought demons never herded together...' She was in her own world now. Something big was going to happen...
"Marie." He says as he takes off his boar head. "I will get stronger than you, I will be able to protect you and your sister, and you will be an amazing boss wife and boss mama!"
Marie smiles, she thinks he must be saying this cause of the blood loss, she was incredibly oblivious.
"Come on, we should get out of this area." She tells him. "It is possible other demons on this mountain could be coming here."
He nods and puts his boar head back on. He will get stronger for her, he cannot let her die.
They walked until they got to a river. "You should go down the mountain." She tells him suddenly.
"What!?" He demands. "Why!?"
"Because you are injured, and I do not want you to die." She admits and he freezes.
He felt all warm and fuzzy, she was worried about him. "I Can handle myself, boss wife! Boss Man Inosuke is not going to leave you here to fight yourself!"
Marie stopped as she saw a demon, that smell kept her from smelling her getting near her.
"HAHA! Finally! I am coming through!" Inosuke says and goes after her.
"Now, Father! Make sure to get the woman! You won't fail like mother did!" The girl cries out.
Marie looked confused, was this... was this like the demons playing house?
"Who are you calling father!" Inosuke demands and suddenly a large demon with a spider head appears. This must be one of the 12 kizuki!
