🌈Happy Pride my Pisco Drinking Friends! 🌈As a small business owner who has a chronically ill baby, well, let’s just say life has been a little challenging the last 12 Months. I was contemplating canceling my Pisco 4 Pride annual initiatives for my brand, since I am the only full-time employee, but this month just means SO much to me and I had to do it. Though I am late to my advertising and social posts, I am still very excited to be hosting the following events to celebrate my 4th annual PISCO 4 PRIDE. Being a pansexual and having an identical twin-sister who is a lesbian (and currently pregnant with TWINS!)…this month means everything to me and had to keep going….My Pisco 4 Pride Party will take place Friday, June 21st and 100% of all the bar proceeds will be going to the Oak Park Area Lesbian and Gay Association+ (#OPALGA) and June 27th I will be hosting a Pisco Pairing Dinner @ Hoja Santa. The profiles, distillation, aging and classifications are extremely different, but nonetheless one of the most beautiful spirits on earth...from God's perfect fruit..GRAPES. This is what fulltime Motherhood and entrepreneurship looks like and what modern business etiquette should look like across the board…I was invited into ABC7 studios this morning to do a live demo on pisco sours, and they welcomed my 5 Month old to join the shoot with me. Tanja Babich did an amazing job at sharing my story and offered to hold Gavin during the live filming and I am still blown away. They made me feel so welcomed, comfortable and like a Rockstar for a day with my son by my side! @abc7 continues to solidify why they are my #1 news station of choice, and now there will forever be part of my Catan Family! Today is the Independence Day of my Motherland, Chile, 🇨🇱 and it is always exciting to celebrate this month - especially when it begun with the toasting of Catan Pisco with the Chilean Consul General and Trade Commisioner of Chicago at The Dearborn. ProChile USA So many reasons to celebrate my homeland (🌈 i.e. Chile is now the eighth Latin American country to allow same sex marriages!) and for bearing the fruits that have literally blessed me with my labor and allowed my dreams to come true…in being the first Chilean Woman in History to have founded a Pisco company. Gracias a la Vida, Chile, Que me ha dado tanto…Feliz 18 Y VIVA CHILE! 🇨🇱¡SALUD! 🇨🇱

I’ve never been so proud to represent my country, culture and heritage. This month represents SO MUCH for me and I am truly honored to have been featured in @negociosnow in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. Today I celebrate 5 Years with my business, Catan Pisco, and am feeling very grateful. 🤗The road continues to be so very challenging but worth it everyday. As I go into this next year of my business as a Mother of now two beautiful boys (2 year old and a 2 month old), I feel more like super woman than ever before…and am ready to take my business to the next level. 💪🏻 Being a Mother will never EVER hold me back nor be used as an excuse to not succeed, because the truth is, I am now a better entrepreneur becuase of it. As a very small spirits brand owner in an almost non-existent category, PISCO, it is very rare that a HUGE festival will allow you to partake in their event…however, after 3 years of persistent knocking, I am so THRILLED that San Diego PRIDE has accepted me as a sponsor!For the first time EVER, in the HISTORY of PRIDE’S in the USA, PISCO will officially be served at the VIP section of SD Pride Fest!!! And yet another reason why I admire this incredible woman who I am honored to call my friend. Gail Zelitzky At the age of 69 she decided to go back to school to get her Master’s Degree and 5 years later Graduated like a badass. She is now in her 80’s, full of energy with an unwavering entrepreneurial heart and continues to inspire so many women of all ages! 🙋🏻♀️🤗For any woman over 70 who is afraid to start something new, I promise you, Gail will be able to break that fear away and make your next chapter happen!
